The Last Milestone for My Children's Picture Book is Rapidly Approaching

Lots of pages!

Today I crossed over into InDesign territory. I’ve got all of my images exported as hi-res PNG files and now I’m going to place them lovingly into my InDesign template. There are 48 pages, but I will add a few blanks at the end of the book for the back matter. I’ll use the two extra pages to promote my first book, just in case my audience is interested in reading more about Jimmy and his friends.

When I say my audience, I mean the six awesome people who bought my first book. You might think that six isn’t a big number, but the way I see it, it’s a blessed number — it tells me that the system works. Having readers energizes me. Now I’m going to write more four more books in the Adventures of Jimmy Jay series. It’s gonna be fun!
