Placing the Cover Page into the IngramSpark InDesign Template
/At last, I’ve moved on to the InDesign phase. This is the last lap of this very long race, a 9 month race, that I thought I would complete in three months. I’m a cockeyed optimist, yes I am.
For the first book, which took a year to finish, I had to learn about e-books, ISBN numbers, page sizes, Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, Photoshop, and then learn enough InDesign to get all of the pictures sized correctly. I still don’t know much about InDesign — I know just enough to make a simple picture book. That’s all I want to know.
In the image above I’m checking how to handle the ISBN number. I’ll modify the background so there’s no glaring white space, and that’s about it. I still have to add the blurb text, then place the other 48 images into InDesign. The light at the end of the tunnel is bright and welcoming.
