pages 36 and 37, A Two-page Spread Made with Clip Studio Paint EX
/Today I created pages 36 and 37, a two-page spread that shows Tuca Moai watching Betty Burro begin her ascent to the top of Terevaka, the highest point on Easter Island, where she plans to confront the troublesome volcano demon. I’m taking liberties with Easter Island’s geology — none of the volcanoes on Easter Island are extinct, with the last eruption about 400,000 years ago. My representation of Terevaka, the highest point on the island, is embellished with a smoking crater.
