Stocking Up the Pantry and Fiddling with Brushes
/Today we went shopping and found the coop shelves bare of canned food, so we bought lots of dry food — mainly beans, rice, and lentils. All in all about a month’s supply, enough, I hope, for the infrastructure to get the food machine functioning again. The last time I experienced this kind of chaos was in the aftermath of the 1987 San Francisco earthquake.
In the meantime, I spent time working on achieving an organic look for my drawings. I’m not there yet, but I will persist. I need to find a texture brush that looks good in an 8x8 inch page printed at 300 dpi.
