Finishing Up The eBook Version of "The Jaybird..."

I’m close to wrapping up this children's book. I published the print version on Jan 1, and tomorrow, Jan 8, 2020, I’ll publish the eBook, if all goes well. I did run into the outer limits of my InDesign knowledge today. All of my text disappeared when I exported the book to the EPUB3 format. I eventually remembered that I had created a default paragraph that applied a white stroke to all text. I was a novice; I didn’t know what the karma would be. Looking back, I see that I did everything the hard way in those days. And, naturally, my early mistakes came home to roost today. Live and learn.

Once I solved the disappearing text problem, I managed to update all of the text and images to sync with the print version. Tomorrow I’ll proof read everything and then validate the eBook to make sure it meets Ingramspark’s standards.
