Now that my wife has returned from her California trip, she’s given me the gift of time off from watching the dogs during the day. She can do that because she has another week of vacation. Sweet of her!

With the extra time she has given me, I was able to work on my book for an hour today. Why only an hour? Well, I do have a day job that takes of most of my waking hours. No matter, though. Having a solid hour to shift gears and work on my book is a gift that I deeply appreciate. i was able to move a large inch forward today.

For the linework on this picture, I used Clip Studio Paint’s “Correct Line” tool, which can change the width of any vector line. For the volcano demon, I set the line width to .70 and set the line width of the small characters to .30. CSP has many really handy, time-saving tools for drawing comix.
