Page 44 again, with Tuca and Betty smoothed out, and a new cat condo for the volcano demon, The cat condo is quite small in an A5 page. I’m concerned that it may be seen as a smudge in the print version. The following pages will show a close-up view of the volcano demon’s little palace.
Two mysterious rats are dancing on the lip of a volcano. They don’t talk, and they don’t have adventures, but they seem to be in every book. I like having them around. Over the years I had some awesome rats for pets. I respect their intelligence. They’re a lot smarter than some people I know.
There are going to be two more characters in this picture. Perhaps then the picture will make more sense. By that way, that’s a volcano behind the dancing rats, not a big pizza. Now that I think of it, maybe having a giant pizza in the story would be really cool.
Today I worked only in Photoshop. Everything worked fine. I don’t have anything to complain about, which is rare.
